Cali-flora-nia

Didn’t get a lot of time to focus on florae, but here are a few shots. I’m guessing these plants aren’t indigenous to SoCal, but probably imports from Mexico.

This a blooming tree, as yet unidentified. Spring in the desert is absolutely stunning, with scraggly, pitiful looking trees producing beautiful blooms.
To me, this two-toned sedum looks like a tropical sea plant or coral.
