Leonotis nepetifolia

Common names: Christmas Candlestick, Lion’s Ear, Klip Dagga. Native to Africa and South Asia, introduced to the Americas. Used medicinally in Africa, purported to be a mild narcotic. Listed as a pest plant in Florida (Floridata, 2014). L. nepetifolia is an invasive garden plant in Australia and a pest plant in Hawaii.
