Talk about your effervescent inflorescence. This is a giant yucca blooming in the secret garden. The garden is so secret, the specimen has a hidden identity. It’s possibly Yucca coahuilensis (native to the Coahuila region of Mexico and Southwest Texas – and is clearly frost tolerant). The inflorescence is currently about 6′ tall, and will likely reach 8′.
