Well, maybe the title is a stretch, but the elements were involved with our visit today to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

A stairwell in the VMFA parking deck… sort of a bowels of the earth experience.

The mid-1850s Robinson House on the VMFA grounds, backed by the 2010 neo-industrial wing of the VMFA.

Sculptor Dale Chihuly has recently launched an installation at VMFA, on exhibition October 20, 2012 – February 10, 2013.
