The VCUarts – Department of Art History student-organized exhibition features more than 50 works by 23 renowned and lesser known African American artists once associated with the pioneering Barnett Aden Gallery (1943 – 1969). The very compelling exhibition represents part of the Barnett Aden collection saved and restored by Margaret & John Gottwald.
