Equinox or Not, Seasons are Changing

It’s not quite time for the Autumnal Equinox (September 23), but the hours of daylight are getting shorter and the color of the natural light is decidedly different. The light on a couple of plants stood out around 4:00 PM today.

Not a Hosta, but the del Sol reference was irresistable. Solomon's Seal on the left, Purple Knight Alternanthera on the right.
This one looks like it received a little supplemental light (strobe)... but it was pretty bright on its own.
