Supaman (Christian Takes Gun Parrish) performed at the 20th Richmond Folk Festival. Supaman – a Native American dancer and innovative hip hop artist – is a member of the Apsaalooke (Crow) Nation, Montana. Eschewing the misogyny and violence pervading much of contemporary urban hip hop, Supaman has dedicated his life to empowering and spreading a message of hope, pride & resilience.
