No, this hasn’t become a food blog. These images are painterly photographs. A little abstracted inspiration after seeing the current Johns/Munch exhibition at the VMFA. Soft edges and a stark color palette similar to Francis Bacon, while the azul version is perhaps more similar to Mark Rothko, at least in terms of the soft edges. It’s something about the biomorphic surrealistic abstraction.
