There is a train museum in Richmond. No, it’s not housed in the 1917 grand former RF&P Broad Street Station ( https://albertvick.com/2013/01/08/that-train-dont-stop-here-anymore/ ‎), and the building is not as elegant as the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke, VA (re-designed in 1946 in the Streamlined Moderne style by noted industrial designer Raymond Loewy). Managed by the Old Dominion Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, the Richmond Railroad Museum is in Old Manchester, and has very, very limited hours of operation.
